At some point it will happen.  I don’t know when, but I imagine it has to be sooner rather than later.  At some point there is going to be a mass revolt amongst women who are simply fed up with shrill progressive voices deigning to speak on behalf of all females.

To be fair, I recognize that there are a significant portion of politically engaged women who willfully choose to follow the commands of racists like Linda Sarsour, sexists like Jessica Valenti, and sexual abusers like Lena Dunham.  They find a sense of identity and purpose in “the cause,” and so even when their consciences tell them something seems morally repugnant, even when their intelligence warns them something is off, even when their instincts tell them to head for the hills, they dawn the pink caps, hold up perverse signs, and cheer profane rants because they’ve come to believe that anything else betrays the sisterhood.

This is the moral and intellectual paralysis of the left’s intersectionality crusade.  Promising fulfillment and deliverance, it delivers bondage and perpetual victimhood.  It deprives a unique individual of their uniqueness and individuality, consigning them to nothing but a cog in an embittered wheel that is continuously portrayed as their savior.  But far from rescue, its crippling effects arrest the independence and autonomy of whatever “community” it infects.

There is more independence of thought and objective liberty demonstrated in a Midwest Bible study of stay-at-home moms than there has ever been at a pink-capped Women’s March in the nation’s capital.  If that seems hyperbolic, let me present as evidence exhibit 10,438, this recent post-midterm election tweet from the alleged voice of modern American feminism, the “Women’s March”:

“There needs to be accountability and an honest reckoning.  There’s a lot of work to do, white women. A lot of learning. A lot of growing.”

Thankfully, commentator Bridget Phetasy delivered a stone-cold knockout blow to this stupidity:

“We’ve come a long way from women fighting for the right to vote to women telling other women how they have to vote.”

Right on.

But here’s the real kicker.  The statistic that the Women’s Marchers were specifically responding to was the one that noted 59% of white women voted for Ted Cruz rather than Democrat Beto O’Rourke in their Texas Senate race.  So white women voted in larger numbers for the Hispanic candidate (real name Rafael Cruz) than they did for the white dude (real name Robert Francis O’Rourke).

So white ladies vote for a minority rather than a white guy and the Women’s March is ticked.  Why would that be?  Because it’s not about race, it’s not about femininity, it’s not about independence and autonomy for women.  It’s about advancing liberal policy.  And these leftists use bullying tactics to demand conformity to their cause to get it.

Strong women will resist.
