This is simply tragic.  And infuriating.  And criminal.

For the sake of their social engineering designs, and in the name of their rigid political orthodoxy, the LGBT political lobby is actively promoting the mutilation of young girls and suppressing all evidence demonstrating the obvious reality that this is a bad idea. 

Sharia-laden Islamic theocracies promote female genital mutilation done for the glory of Allah.  The West and its fascist LGBT activism promotes female breast mutilation done for the glory of “rights.”  It’s the same thing – abominable.

Jane Robbins writes,

Reasonable people would be mystified, if not repelled, by the statements and actions of a leading researcher into transgender treatment. In a study funded by a $5.7 million grant from the National Institutes of Health (NIH), researchers including Dr. Johanna Olson of Children’s Hospital Los Angeles are supposedly evaluating use of puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones on dysphoric children.

As I’ve written with a coauthor, however, the study is fundamentally skewed toward the conclusions transgender activists desire: it contains no control group of subjects who will be spared these drugs, and will expire after five years, long before many negative effects may surface.

In other words, the fix is in – a fix designed to advance a political cause even if it is at the expense of confused and hurting young girls who are being used by adults with an agenda rather than offered the help they need.  In fact, these adults don’t even want to consider that they might need help:

These design flaws (in Olson’s study) aren’t surprising. Olson dismisses the possibility that gender dysphoria could be caused by psychological disturbance, claiming the only “mental health issue” related to gender dysphoria “comes from the way that the outside world responds” to the confused youth. She states, as though from a medical basis, that gender-dysphoric youth will go through the “wrong puberty” unless she and her cohorts can medicate them early enough in their lives to "put them through the right puberty."

The way you can tell someone who isn’t concerned about the well-being of children is when they immediately seek to suppress all evidence about those children that contradicts their cause.  And that’s precisely where we find these LGBT activists pushing chemical poisoning and physical mutilation of children in the name of transgenderism.  Look no further to what happened at Brown University for proof of that.

At some point, sane people, loving people, people of good faith are going to have to recognize that the LGBT agenda is different than the “nice gay people” that they work with or live next to.  It is callously committed to pushing their sexual revolution forward in the culture, even if 13 and 14-year-olds are permanently deformed and physiologically traumatized in the process.

And more than merely recognize it, we will need to find the courage to confront them, shame them, and defeat their hostile, deadly agenda.  Morality demands it.
