I get that the “Bill Clinton checks out Ariana Grande” moment at the Aretha Franklin funeral was what attracted the most attention from right-leaning Twitter accounts.  And make no mistake, the look on his face and the entire scene was creepy.  See for yourself:

But there was unquestionably an image from that funeral that was far worse, far grosser, and far more revolting.  And it sadly drew far less attention.  This one:

For those who may be unaware, that is former Democrat President Bill Clinton, former Democrat presidential candidate and major Democrat activist Jesse Jackson, and Democrat media personality Al Sharpton all standing, without apparent objection, alongside Louis Farrakhan.

Louis Farrakhan is the racist demagogue who is famous for declaring that, “Hitler was a very great man,” as well as calling Jewish people “bloodsuckers,” and dubbing terrorists killing Americans “freedom fighters.”  He’s a man who said he “loved” terrorist madman Qaddafi, called for the destruction of America, and who teaches that white people haven’t evolved enough to be considered anything but “potential humans” who “deserve to die.”

For the sake of comparison, Louis Farrakhan makes racist alt-right, white supremacist leader Richard Spencer look like a Boy Scout.  Yet remember the furor generated by virtually every major American media outlet when Republican President Donald Trump failed to condemn Spencer and his white supremacy in strong enough terms following the violence in Charlottesville.

It’s astounding to think what American media would be doing right now if President Trump, or even former President Bush appeared on the same stage, standing right beside Richard Spencer.  Just try to fathom the apoplectic response it would engender from these same media types apparently disinterested in the Farrakhan story.  You don’t have to wonder.

After Lara Trump introduced her father-in-law as “the savior of the country,” BuzzFeed reporter Jon Passantino asked a question retweeted by CNN’s Oliver Darcy:

“Imagine if Obama’s kids had said this”

He’s right in suggesting that conservatives and right-leaning media would have been livid.  But perhaps that exact same question should be posed right back at Darcy and Passantino: they are incredulous that Lara Trump made such a comment…would they have been equally indignant at such a statement by one of Obama’s kids or would they have given it a pass?

And not just these two, but the rest of the leftist mainstream media as well.  The answer to that question is revealed in the collective yawn they’re offering up to key Democrat party figures standing on stage with a virulent bigot and unrepentant racist.

Is it that unlike white supremacists like Spencer, black men like Farrakhan cannot be considered racists?  Or is it that Democrats like Clinton and Sharpton will not be held to the same standard for repudiating racism that Republicans are held to?

It’s almost like the media has an agenda or something.
