The Hill dropped a story based off a recent Pew Research study that could and should send chills up the spines of conservative Americans.  It revealed that young Americans born 1996 or after, the so-called Generation Z, are shaping up to be the most liberal generation ever.  Here’s what the study found:

On issues ranging from the treatment of racial minorities to climate change to diversity in society, the post-millennial generation — dubbed Generation Z by demographers — looks a lot more like the millennial generation than like their parents in Generation X or the baby boom generation, according to a new report from the Pew Research Center...

After the man affectionately known as John “Fruit Ninja” Kasich completed his remarkably predictable career move by inking a deal to criticize Republicans on CNN, Kasich’s new colleagues came to his immediate defense.  But without question the most, shall we say interesting, take came from Oliver Darcy who holds the illustrious title of “senior media reporter” at the cable giant.

Yes, that means his job in media is to report on…media.  And, of course, at CNN that translates to maintaining a Twitter timeline full of anti-Fox, anti-conservative media remarks and posts.  So be it.  Everyone’s got to have their thing...

The next logical step is obviously for the Republican Party as an organization to announce that they will not support, fundraise, or otherwise participate in any future campaign by King.

This is obviously the right thing to do...

I remember well the fallout from Televangelist Pat Robertson’s 2005 call to assassinate Venezuela’s Hugo Chavez.  I was doing a radio show at the time and faced the obligatory, if not annoyingly generalized, accusations from listeners:

“So political assassination is now a Christian virtue, is that right?”

No, it wasn’t right.  It isn’t right.   It was the ramblings of one guy who has a history of saying bizarre, outlandish things.  But...
